The Canvas Tote was founded by an artist and designer based in New York City with a background in apparel design.

The idea came to me when I struggled to carry a large canvas home from the art supply store and realized nothing on the market worked for what I needed. I designed the first tote for myself and quickly saw how many other creatives needed the same thing. Today, our patent-pending totes make it easy to carry canvases, sketchbooks, and supplies of all sizes — because creativity shouldn’t be limited by what you can carry.
